What Volunteers Can Expect During a Clinical Trial

"I like finally getting my blood pressure controlled and all the attention from the friendly staff and doctor."

"I like all the benefits (incentive gifts) of participating in a trial as well as the excellent medical care. I am seen quickly and the staff including the doctor have plenty of time to answer my questions and talk to me."

  • All of our trials take place in our office. Patients often comment that the office has a warm friendly home-like atmosphere. We want you to feel comfortable and be a part of our family.
  • Most studies require you to visit our office every other week or monthly, but we do have some trials that require weekly visits. The first visit is the longest, averaging two hours. Subsequent visits can be as short as 15 minutes.  Studies generally last from 3 months to a year.
  • You will be paid for your time and travel, and receive study medication, physicals, lab work, and EKGs, all at no charge to you.
  • You will have access to the most up to date medical treatments and be in the care of highly trained and caring professionals. We do not replace your regular doctor, but at your request, our staff can keep your physician informed about your participation in the study.
  • You will be playing a pivotal role in helping to advance medical science in the treatment of disease. You'll be making a difference in the future for all of us.
